The incredible people behind Temari Abroad who are revolutionizing education through innovation and passion
The visionaries who started it all and continue to lead our mission forward
Co-Founder & CEO
Abdurahman is a rising sophomore at the University of Chicago, studying Computer Science and Molecular Engineering. From the rural landscapes of Wollo, where he grew up herding animals and navigating life far from opportunity, to earning a full-ride scholarship to one of the world’s leading universities, his journey is a powerful story of grit, growth, and self-determination. Once a shepherd, a street vendor, and a young poet, Abdurahman is now using his voice and vision to give back — mentoring others and building tools that open doors for students like him. He is a living reminder that we can all write our own fate
Co-Founder & COO

Now, as a proud member of the Temari Abroad team, Besufikad is dedicated to helping other students unlock their full potential and pursue life-changing educational opportunities — just as he did

Co-Founder & CSO
Natnael is an incoming student at Tufts University, was born in Dessie, Ethiopia, and attended high school at Haile Manas Academy. He’s an alum of the Pioneer Academics Global Problem Solving Institute (UNC Chapel Hill) and the Yale Young African Scholars program, held by Yale University. Working with students and starting the day with buna brewed the Ethiopian way are two of his favorite things. Coming from a low-income background, Natnael is especially passionate about creating opportunities for students with similar experiences. At Temari Abroad, he serves as Chief Strategy Officer, working with mentors to design effective support systems, strengthen mentor-mentee connections, and oversee how guidance is delivered.
We're always looking for passionate individuals who want to make a difference in education. Together, we can bridge the gap and create opportunities for students worldwide.
